N.A.P.E. 2010 Convention 

A great time was had by all attending the National Association of Power Engineers 2010 National Convention. We thank everyone who came out to support N.A.P.E. in the wonderful city of Baltimore. Important business was discussed and memorable moments were shared and made with family and friends.

Are you an employer seeking a qualified employee? Or are you an employee looking for a suitable employer? If you are, the National Association of Power Engineers can help. On the national website, www.powerengineers.com, there is a link for employment opportunities. From there, you can post your resume for prospective employers to view, or you can search the current listing of available positions across the United States.  

If you're looking for something more specific or local, don't forget the importance of speaking with your Chapter. Your Chapter officers as well as fellow members may know of an available position that you weren't previously aware of.

2010 N.A.P.E. Membership Amnesty Program 

The Board of Directors of N.A.P.E. has passed an amnesty program for dropped members of N.A.P.E. Any dropped member from 2009 or before, re-activates their membership with N.A.P.E. by participating in our automatic credit card renewal program, will not be charged the $30 re-initiation fee.

The automatic credit card renewal program allows the member hands off, hassle free approach when paying their yearly dues. The National Office will automatically charge your yearly dues for you every January 15 th . Members participating in this payment option receive a $20 discount on their yearly dues.

Dropped members re-activating their membership by participating in our automatic credit card renewal program will receive a total savings of $50! This is an unbelievable savings. Passed Member

It is with great sorrow to announce the passing of NY #1's Past Chapter President, Brother Joel Silverman. Joel was active on many committees within the Chapter and he was a leader in the Chapter's Toastmaster Club, winning many awards. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. 

National Engineer Correction

The last issue of the National Engineer, was the May / June 2010 issue. Accidentally, the cover of the May / June 2010 issue read:   March / April 2010. This was a mistake on our part and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused any one.
